On Sunday, 27th November some of 5th Banstead Brownies went to the Epsom Playhouse to see David Walliams.
The evening started with David Walliams being interviewed, he talked about his television shows, raising money for Sports Relief and his books. It was very interesting to hear about his life. He told us when swimming the Thames earlier this year, that he became very sick and had to swim through miles of poo….. gross!
After this, he read some chapters from his new book ‘Gansta Granny’, which was very funny as he read the characters in funny voices. At the end of the evening David was asked questions by the audience, who asked lots of excellent questions. At the end David signed our books that were on sale outside. Emma, Mummy and I waited one and a half hours to get our book signed, but it was definitely worth it.
